I like KLM as well. I worked at KLM Juniors (KLM Passage Ground-SPL/PG) and worked the Transavia flights. What I always disliked was the jealousy between PH and PG. We all wore the same damn uniforms, but it was always a problem. Not to mention the better pay that PH-ers got compared to PG-ers!! That why I left and went to GlobeGround and then easyJet.

Now that I am with the 3rd largest airline in Europe after Air France-KLM and Lufthansa (British Airways), you see that we have a complete different way of working. Although to be fair there is some jealousy. Instead of Passenger Handling versus Passage Ground, we have Heathrow crew & staff versus Gatwick crew and staff. :-)

oh well.....

@ Lesley: Yeah thanks for calling. NOT! Anyway, KIX was tiresome! It's a very long flight and all I can say is thank goodness for OCR's!!

Osaka itself was pretty boring. We stayed at the Omni outside the city. I slept the whole time I was there. I flew Chichen-Itza to Kansai and back I flew Litomyšl Castle. Nice co-workers though.

@ bri: Meisje! Long time! AF of...? Kusjes!

KLM is a good employer. But lets face it... they are the only decent airline Holland has. Transavia is a nasty mess to work for and anyone that works for MP is crazy. They treat their people like slaves. I mean come on! A MIA or MCO with a 1 day lay-over, 2 days off and then a LPA behind of it! But why are we talking about KLM. I didn't say anything about KLM... ;-)

PG/PH: Nasty mess! Rude PH'ers, PG'ers never got promoted and we were treated like slaves. Transavia was disaster to handle. (Sorry DDM!) Good riddance. Those are 2 years of my life I ain't getting back!

I'm trying to keep the blog fun. I ask not to post a certain comment, and a Mr. or Mrs. Anonymous did. This blog is all in good fun, so let's keep it that way, please?

Thanks in advance.

@ Linda: Thanks for the heads up.

You know I been in the aviation business since I was 18. So today (February 11, 2007) makes 10 years! My, my, how time flies.

Although now I'm making a lot more money then I did then, I have to say the best time I had working in this business, is when I worked at Air Aruba & Ogden Aviation Services in Aruba. The work was fun, the airport was small and my co-workers were the bomb. Anytime I am in AUA, I still see some of them at the airport or the road. Unfortunatly due to my own stupidity I screwed up and got fired, but I'll always remember 'Beatrix' with a smile. Good times and sweet memories!

Jennifer "Pat" Patterson, Ludeshka "Lulu" Kastaneer, Melina Croes, Lisette 'Setty' Franken, Veronica "Kelleis" Kelly, Jacqueline "Lienchi" Winklaar, Indirah Burke, Robert Vleeming, Ryan "Mitch" Mitchell en natuurlijk me.

Remember that's what i heard.

They gotta try hard www.tiara-air.com
