Trip Report part #2 - Big Apple

The next morning we woke up and we all had breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Afterwards we decided to split-off and everyone could do what they wanted. We were all well-travelled people and it was not necessary to do everything together.

Lesley headed to Brooklyn to visit his aunt and uncle, Brenda went to do her hair, Thomas and Dennis went on a hop-on/hop-off tour, Rob headed to the American Airlines Store near JFK airport and I myself headed to shop on 42nd Street. We also had to buy each other Christmas gift, so it was ideal. We did however decide to meet up at T.G.I. Fridays for dinner around 18.00. But my gosh!!! New York was cold!

Brrrrrr!!

So said, so done. We had a great dinner and we laughed the whole night. Later that evening we walked back to the hotel. After we dumped our stuff in our rooms, we met up in the hotel bar where we had a few drinks untill after midnight. We then wished each other Merry Christmas, had one more drink and called it a day.

Mom

Well Mom certainly was enjoying her well-deserved vacation in Turkey. The hotel was good, the food was good and the Turkish people were very friendly.
