Round The World
Well some of you guys guessed it right... I am going on a RTW (Round The World) trip with R. and my buddies Lesley, Dennis, Brenda and Tommy. Some of you sent me e-mails asking why we don't non-rev (IPB) and the simplest answer of all is... we don't want to get stuck! We are flying around the holiday season and flights are full, so to IPB would just be foolish. We all have to be back home in time for work!
It's a nice way to spend the holidays and you actually travel across the world! We first fly from Amsterdam to Newark and spend Christmas in Manhattan in New York. We chose Newark EWR instead of New York JFK, because the JFK flight was full and besides... Newark airport is just as far from Manhattan as JFK.
On Boxing Day we take a flight to Los Angeles where we spend a day shopping at Melrose Boulevard and chill at Malibu Beach.
The next day we take a flight to Hong Kong that makes a stop in Tokyo. We spend 2 days in Hong Kong chilling at Kowloon and Victoria.
Then we continue to Bangkok where we spend the day shopping on the water market.
The next day it's a short hop to Singapore where we will spend 3 days and where we'll also open the new year. I've never been to Singapore (only in-transit), so I am really looking forward to this.
After Singapore it's time to head back home. So via Paris we head back to Amsterdam ending the trip on January 3rd.
We didn't book any hotels... we want to be adventurous and book a hotel when we arrive at the destination. I can't wait!

Lijkt me al-in-al een heel leuk reis. Singapore is één van de schoonste landen ter wereld, waar je zelf een boete krijgt als je je kauwgom op straat uitspuugt of als je de openbare toiletten niet doorspoelt. Bizar gewoon.
