Update - Six Flags/Walibi World

Friday, July 28

Today Jeandrina, Lesley and me were going to Walibi World. Also known as Six Flags Holland. R. was going with us, but he was called out of standby to do a trip to Mexico City. Bummer... for him! So early in the morning Jeandrina and me took a train and headed to Harderwijk. We had to transfer in Rotterdam, then Utrecht and finally again in Amersfoort!

From Dordrecht to Harderwijk the total travel time is 2 hours and 30 minutes. So while Jeandrina entertained herself with her MP3 player...

In Amersfoort we met up with Lesley and together we headed to Harderwijk with the stoptrein. When we arrived at the Harderwijk train station we had to take the Walibi bus to the theme park.

We all liked roller coasters so that was no problem. R. always gets sick on those things. We started on simple rides first then we went on Superman the ride! So many loops at such a speed!

Then Lesley had this great idea to go on these stupid rafts. It's called the Rio Grande. Well… we all got soaking wet! It was a good thing that the sun was shining.

We walked around the park had something to eat and drink and met with the Walibi inhabitants.

We then headed to the inverted roller coaster. It’s called El Condor. That's the one where your feet hang out. We screamed our lungs out! Hahahahaha!

Then we went to Space Shot. We were shot in the air so fast, it takes your breath away. Oh my gosh!

After doing some other stuff in between we headed up at the fastest, highest, longest and steepest roller coaster in Europe! GOLIATH! If you can go on this coaster, you can go on any coaster in the world. Goliath goes so fast… unbelievable!

You can guess what we were! Thrill seekers!

After that we bought some souvenirs and then headed back to the Walibi Bus. It was time to head home.

The 3 of us traveled from Harderwijk to Amersfoort together and there we said goodbye to Lesley. He took the train to Hoofddorp via Schiphol and we headed to Dordt. It was an exhausting day. It was a fun day with my best buddy and my favorite cousin! What could be more entertaining?

More to come!
