Busan-Seoul... and later on Amsterdam!

Ibis Hotel, Seoul - Local time 05.45

Yesterday after breakfast we packed our bags and took a taxi to Busan Airport (PUS) for our flight to Seoul Incheon (ICN). Staffco booked us on Asiana Airlines (OZ), which is also a carrier based in South Korea next to Korean Air.

At the airport we checked in at the Asiana counter and headed straight to the gate and boarded the 737. The flight from PUS to ICN is exactly 1 hour. What a difference that is comparing to that 18 hour train ride!

After we arrived at ICN, we took a taxi to the hotel, where we met Freddy, Marcel and Henk. We held a meeting in Grietjes room and afterwards we headed to the Djoser office to carry in our reports and brief them on how it went.

Within one hour that was done and we went to get a bite to eat at McDonald's across the hotel. Then we went walking around into the city center for the last time. Seoul is a real cool city and I enjoyed it a lot.

After that we headed back to the hotel and went to bed...

Now it's morning and today we are flying back home. Staffco sent us an e-mail telling us we are flying back on Korean Air KE 925 at 11.40. We should arrive in Holland today at 16.30. It's almost a 12 hour flight. Apparently KLM was full, so we got KE. Oh well... who cares, right? As long as we reach back home. We will meet each other in the lobby in 30 minutes, so my next blog should be from home.

Thanks to the cities of Seoul and Busan for their hospitality and a warm hug to all the friendly people of South Korea. It has been a pleasure!
