T.G.I.F.
Thank God It's Friday! I just came home from having dinner with my co-workers in Amsterdam. We had some business to discuss and we decided to do it over dinner. You see on April 20th our down period will be over. From that day on we will be on duty again and can be called up to travel abroad. The relaxed life will be over! I really enjoyed my down time. I mean travelling is fun and all, but being able to go home everyday is priceless. Our team (team #3) and team #1 are going on duty, while team #2 and team #4 are going down for a well-deserved resting period of 2 months.
Our last trip was to Beijing that ended on January 19th. The flights that I made to Kuala-Lumpur/Jakarta, London Heathrow, Manchester and Aruba/Bonaire don't count, because they were part of the down period. Working in another country is considered duty.
So after work I came home showered and changed and headed to Amsterdam. There we met up with members of the other teams. Team #2 and #4 had to inform us on what they were doing, as we would be taking over their jobs in 12 days time. It was fun. The food was good and the drinks were flowing.

Part of the group

Hmmmm!

Renzo and Miriam (team #2)

My teammate Grietje with Dennis from team #4

Kevin interns (stagaire) with us. He studies PR & Consulting at the University of Amsterdam. Also Dennis from team #4 and me from team #3.
At 12.00 we left the restaurant and had some drinks at a bar close to the Kalverstraat.

Heading to Kalverstraat

My teammate Brenda and me

Grietje and Amadeo. Amadeo is someone who was in town from Luanda in Angola for business with Air France Consulting. He works for one of our clients, namely: TAAG Angolan Airlines.
Around 02.00, we decided to call it a night and I took a train to R's house in Rotterdam. R. is already sleeping and now I am also heading to bed.
Goodnight and enjoy your weekend.

Great foto's. Which restaurant did you go out to eat? It looks like the bar was café De Jaren. is that right?
Hi Angelo. What's up? Yep that is indeed Café De Jaren near Peek & Cloppenburg. Heel erg gezellig!
Ryan
Mr. Mitchell!
Heeeeerlijk!!!
Ryan
Ha die Ry! Waar de f*ck is Varanasi man?
Arie
Hoi Arie. Fawaka? Varanasi is in India.
Groeten.
Ryan
Oké gozer. Bedankt!
Arie
