Greetings from Japan!
Yep that's right... I'm in Osaka, Japan. Japan is 8 hours ahead of Holland and 13 of Aruba. It is now 08.30 Tuesday morning. We arrived yesterday morning.
I came with Brenda and Grietje this time; Freddy had other stuff to do. Again we had last minute change of plans. We had to fly KLM non-stop to Osaka (KIX), but when we went to Staff Travel & Services at SPL to pick up our "Duty S" tickets (confirmed tickets for work related travel) the lady informed us that because AF cancelled their flight CDG-KIX, they were rebooking everyone through AMS... so the KL867 was full. We get less priority than paying passengers. So we were rebooked on Singapore Airlines 777 (SQ) to Singapore (SIN) and in SIN we took another SQ flight to Osaka Kansai (KIX) on an Airbus A-340. Total travel time 17 hours!!!

We are in Osaka on behalf of our client Cathay Pacific (CX). Last year they switched ground handlers in KIX and they want to know how they are doing. ANA All Nippon Airlines now does the handling.So we are here to see.
We are staying at SwissĂ´tel Nankai. The KLM crew also lays-over in this hotel

Anyway I got to hurry up. We are here only for 3 days and we have tons of work to do!

Ik ben 2 keer naar Japan geweest voor werk. Allebei Tokyo, geen KIX.
